Warming drawers are installed under wall ovens, under cooktops and in island cabinetry, and their parts list is short: a heating element, a thermostat or electronic control, a moisture vent and the drawer hardware. That makes them one of the cheaper appliances to repair, provided the part is still made for the model.
We confirm the temperature the drawer is actually reaching, test the element and the control, and check the glide hardware and alignment while the drawer is out. If the drawer sits in a stack with an oven above it, we check that the oven is not the source of the heat complaint.
Common Warming Drawer Problems
Drawer not warming at all on any setting
Holding far hotter than the selected setting
Control knob or touch pad not responding
Food drying out even with the moisture vent closed
Drawer glide binding, or the front sitting crooked
Fault code or blinking indicator on the control

Why Trust Us With Your GE Warming Drawer
- Tested, Not Guessed | We test the suspected warming drawer part before recommending that anything is replaced.
- Parts for Popular Models | Commonly needed warming drawer parts travel with our technicians; less common parts are ordered and the return visit is scheduled before we leave.
- Safety First | Power, water and gas are isolated before we work on your warming drawer, and high-voltage and refrigerant work is handled only by the technician.
- Warranty-Aware Advice | If your warming drawer may still be under manufacturer coverage we tell you, because a repair by anyone other than an authorized technician can put that coverage at risk.
