On the GE Profile UltraFast Combo washer/dryer, GE documents 353 as the lint filter being clogged with fabric softener residue. The heat-pump drying system depends on airflow through that filter, so a residue-coated screen shows up as long dry times and damp loads before it shows up as a code.
