Laundry centres are two appliances in one cabinet, and they are serviced as such: a fault in the washer section does not usually affect the dryer above it. That matters for repair decisions, because one section can be repaired while the other keeps working.
Access is tighter than on separate machines, so allow more labour time. Before any inspection, unplug the unit and close both taps. If the dryer section is vented, a blocked vent must be cleared as well, since restricted airflow is both a performance and a fire risk.
