What Cup Open Means

🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Add detergent if you have not already, close the cup lid until it latches, then close and latch the door and press Start. If you deliberately use a tablet in the tub, GE's documented override is to press Start a second time without opening the door. If the message appears every cycle even with the cup properly latched, the dispenser switch is likely at fault.
