What F112 Means
F112 means the control has detected a key stuck - a button reading as pressed when nobody is touching it. This code belongs to GE's LCD-display dishwasher controls (the panels that spell out F-numbers), not the older C1-C8 panels. It is usually moisture or residue behind the panel membrane rather than a failed board, and the dishwasher may refuse new selections until it clears.

🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Wipe the control panel dry with a soft cloth, paying attention to the edges of the buttons, and avoid spraying cleaner directly at the panel. If the kitchen has been steamy, let it dry out. One power reset is the owner-level step: switch the dishwasher's breaker off for about 30 seconds, restore power and run a short cycle. If F112 returns with a dry panel, the touch panel or interface board needs replacing.
