What E1 Means
E1 on this platform points at the user interface control board - the board behind the buttons and display. This code belongs to the older GE Profile front-load washer platform - broadly the machines sold through the 2000s and early 2010s, most of which are long out of warranty. The same code string means something different on the newer GE front-load E-code set and on GE top-load machines.
