What H2O Means
H2O indicates a low water situation. GE splits the advice by cycle: if it appears during the 1-Hour Wash, schedule service; on other cycles, check for a kinked inlet hose first, and call for service if neither applies. The dishwasher is telling you it did not get the fill it expected.

- Supply valve closed or partly closed

🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Confirm the household shut-off valve under the sink is fully open and that the braided or copper inlet line behind the machine is not kinked or crushed. Run the kitchen tap to check you have normal pressure and flow. If the code showed up on the 1-Hour Wash specifically, GE's guidance is to book service rather than keep retrying, since that cycle depends on a fast fill.
